Temporary Traffic Regulation Order

Moira Road (Shellbrook) Ashby De La Zouch

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.A road closure is required on Ashby RoadbetweenBishop Hall Road and DorsetDrive, Moira on the 31st May2021 for fivedays.From 7thJune2021 for approximately two weeks works will be undertaken with temporary traffic signalsat the junction of Moira Road and Bishop Hall Road.The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for C3 Construction on behalf of Bellway Homes to facilitate installation of traffic calming, and various carriageway and footway works.The proposed alternative diversion route will be via: Moira Road, Kilwardby Street, Bath Street, Station Road, Tamworth Road, Willesley Road, Willesley Lane, Ashby de la Zouch; Ashby Road, Moira Road, Donisthorpe; Measham Road, Ashby Road, Moira;and vice versa. Annual Parish Meeting

Ashby Woulds Town Council is returning to face to face meetings from next week.

The Annual Parish Meeting for Ashby Woulds will take place on Monday 17th May at 6.30pm at Moira Village Hall. This will be followed by the Annual Meeting and Ordinary Meeting of the town council.

All members of the press and public are welcome to attend.
